Marshall Square

Marshall Square has 26 apartments.  It consists of 24 one-bedroom units and 2 two-bedroom units.  The property was purchased and modified using HUD "Replacement Housing" funds set aside when the Northland site was demolished in 1995.  This apartment site is located one block east of 7th & Gage Blvd.

Sophie George, Deputy Director, oversaw a complete make-over of Marshall Square: new roof, new wall and ceiling insulation, new bathroom and kitchen fixtures, new cabinets, new appliances, new electrical and plumbing.

Marshall Square is named after Joseph E. Marshall Sr. who gave so much of his time over a period of 11 years as a member of the THA Board of Commissioners.
